Two meters, and both of them are yours to check. Every plan includes an allowance of each; you are only charged beyond what you have already bought, and the two allowances are independent — running out of one does not consume the other.

Going over costs at most 20% more per unit than your plan rate — the same on every tier. Most providers price overage to punish you into upgrading. We would rather you upgraded because it was cheaper, which it always is.
Minutes used, bandwidth used, what was included, and what each unit cost. If a number looks wrong you can check it against your own logs, because it is measured, not modelled.
Rooms, participants, recordings of your own signalling, API calls — none of it is billed. There are exactly two meters, and they are the two above.
Some things are worth knowing before you migrate, and you should not have to find them out after signing.
Everything runs in Mumbai. If your users are mostly elsewhere, latency will show it, and we would rather tell you now than have you measure it later.
Media travels directly between your users and a server, so per-tenant bytes cannot be measured exactly on shared infrastructure. It is included on those plans and never billed. From Scale up you get a cluster of your own and the figure becomes exact.
Egress to RTMP, recording to storage, and SIP are not offered yet. If you need them, say so — it changes whether this is the right platform for you.
